SUPERVISOR: Principal

QUALIFICATION:

• Must hold a valid Kentucky Teaching Certification in the area stated above.
• Have the ability to develop and implement the IEP for individual students.
• Must be willing to collaborate with regular classroom teachers.
• Have knowledge and ability to implement Kentucky Academic Standards (ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies) and Alternate Assessment (Alternate K-PREP).
• Must have knowledge of curriculum and best teaching strategies for improving student learning.
• Must be available to participate in PD training sessions in aligning curriculum both vertically/horizontally for Moderate Severe Disability students.
• Must have knowledge/implementation of ARC meetings and Discipline Management Skills.
• Have the ability to develop a positive, professional relationship with students, teachers, administrators, and parents.
• Must follow all board policies.
• Must be willing to participate in extracurricular activities related to RCMS.
• Must successfully complete all required employment forms/applications.
• Render health services as necessary after appropriate training.
